Upcoming Events


    EASHRM Members:

    If you haven’t registered for the seminar, please do so as soon as possible so that we can give a good attendee count to our sponsors and speakers. We were late in getting the announcement out, so I know that made it more difficult for you to arrange to attend.

    I also wanted to let you know about some exciting additions this year:
    § Sponsors: We will have a hand full of sponsors exhibiting their services. They have made it possible to lower the seminar cost for you. They are also bringing some pretty nice door prizes.
    § Silent Auction: We will be holding a small silent auction to benefit the SHRM Foundation. Some of the items offered include $100 Wal-Mart gift card (GC), GC’s from O’Charleys, Chappy’s Deli, and Long Horn, and tickets to a Biscuits game.
    § Reduced Cost: As an EASHRM member, you may attend for only $60! (Students are $25)
    § Seminar Bags: Yes, that’s right! We have nice bags to offer this year and are filling them with goodies!
    § Additional Lunch Speaker: We listened to your comments after last year’s seminar and have shortened the length of two presentations. This will give us time to add in a fifth speaker so that you get more for your money.

    As always, we will give away door prizes throughout the day, offer a $100 cash prize, and also give away the grand prize. I want to thank many of you who have gotten busy and requested donations for door prizes and bag fillers. Please keep up the good work!
